Where We Were Today
Murray Kinsella was in Murrayfield for the captain’s runs ahead of tomorrow’s Six Nations opener, and then headed to Cumbernauld for the Ireland women and U20 Six Nations clashes with Scotland.
Ryan Bailey caught up with record-breaker Sinead Kane and was at the Gonzaga and Castleknock schools rugby clash in Donnybrook, while Fintan O’Toole was in Croke Park for the GAA motions briefing.

Ireland and Everton star Seamus Coleman voiced his opinion on the state of modern-day football and the mentality of current players.
“I think if you have a bad game and someone highlights it on the TV or in the papers then so be it. That’s the job we’re in and we get paid a lot of money to do what we do. If we can’t take criticism, then there’s something wrong and I think it shows a weakness in a player. It’s the game we’re in, we’re going to get criticised just like we’re going to get praised when we’re doing well.
