Even though it’s been 14 years since we last saw Steve Austin wrestle, and even though he’s said multiple times that he’s done, people still love to ask the WWE Hall of Famer about coming back for one more match.
When asked if he’d come back for another match during a recent chat with Wrestling Inc, Austin gave the same answer he always does; no.
“I don’t know, I never think about it… I got a lot of great memories of that business, but I got it out of my system. You gotta realize, I’ve been gone 14 years. You gotta get over something at some point and that’s way long enough for me to get over it. I look back with fond memories and I still watch to this day because I love the business and I like the guys and girls to be doing good at it and have a way to make a living for their family. But I’m done, I’m good.”

WWE is really trying to play up the idea that John Cena’s loss to Roman Reigns at Survivor Series might end up being the last match of his professional wrestling career. But, barring some unforeseen tragedy, we’ll likely see Cena wrestling in a WWE ring again. In fact, we’re going to see it sooner rather than later, according to this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
This week’s Observer said that Cena will be back for Survivor Series in November. So, he’ll only be out of action for about two months.
As of this writing, it’s unclear which brand Cena will return to, or if WWE will even continue the free agency storyline upon his return.

TrustedReviews.com has released the superstar rankings for the upcoming WWE 2K18 video game, and coming in at number one is Roman Reigns, with a superstar rating of 95.

Interestingly, the current WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal, failed to reach 90, as his rating is an 88. AJ Styles, who has a player rating of 90, is actually one notch below Smackdown Live GM Daniel Bryan, who is “retired” from in-ring competition, and earned a 91 rating.
The latest in the WWE 2K series drops on October 17th, and will boast features such as an 8-bit mode, Universe Mode and a Road to Glory mode.

Earlier this week, following WWE’s announcement that the War Games match will be returning at NXT Takeover Houston, Cody Rhodes commented on WWE’s decision to resurrect the match, and he had the following to say on Twitter:
I’m not mad. I was told. H worked for my Dad and then my Dad worked for him. They were friends. Care and effort will be placed into it.

Rhodes has since clarified his comments on the return of War Games, posting the following on Twitter:
“Received a lot of praise, but also a good deal of criticism in regards to my remarks on Starrcade & War Games…with that I’d like to clarify my position and clear up some confusion. As I try to climb the ladder in my sport, with every arena I walk into, I carry my father’s legacy. It is also my job to protect it. Literally. As head of his estate, I try to always honor and never exploit.
I do understand that to the victor goes the spoils, and that my Dad’s many many creations for Jim Crockett Promotions and later WCW…they belong to WWE.”

Update On Why Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas Have Been Off WWE TV and Live Events
As noted, WWE stars Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas have been off WWE live events and TV tapings for the past couple weeks, and neither man was present at Raw this past Monday night.
According to TribLive’s Justin LaBar, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas, along with WWE ring announcer JoJo Offerman, are all suffering from viral meningitis, which has kept them out of action.
WATCH: Wyatt Introduces Finn Bálor To Sister Abigail
Wyatt’s Sister Abigail segments which have aired on WWE Raw were all taped in advance, and Wyatt was not actually present at the venues when the segments aired on Raw. No word on when the trio is expected back on the road with WWE.
Seems Bray, Bo and JoJo haven’t been at TV or events because of viral meningitis. Unfortunate. I have NO INFO on Sunday for Bray.
