Prior to the SmackDown 1000 anniversary special on Tuesday evening, WWE taped matches for tonight’s episode of 205 Live at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
Featured below, courtesy of F4WOnline.com are complete spoiler results from the taping:
A fatal five-way match was taped for this week’s main event. Tony Nese defeated Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush, TJP, and Gran Metalik. Rush, who is from the area, was over with the crowd in Washington D.C.
Drake Maverick announced the fatal five-way match on Twitter earlier in the day and said that the winner would solidify themselves as a top contender to Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. Nese also got a win in the main event of last week’s 205 Live by defeating Alexander.
In the opening match of tonight’s tapings, Akira Tozawa defeated Drew Gulak by disqualification. The DQ came when Jack Gallagher interfered. Brian Kendrick then came to Tozawa’s aid after the match. Gulak and Gallagher turned against Kendrick and beat him down in an angle that aired on the October 3 episode of 205 Live.
205 Live airs this evening on the WWE Network.
