According to today’s edition of L’Équipe, French international Paul Pogba has informed certain teammates and friends of his desire to rejoin Manchester United this summer.
On Monday, Mino Raiola met with Ed Woodward in the South of France to finalise a deal for Henrikh Mkhitarian, whilst at the same time opening discussions with Manchester United for the possible transfer of Paul Pogba.
Manchester United’s interest in the player is serious, Pogba is Mourinho’s absolute priority, as he was last summer when he tried to sign him for Chelsea.
During this meeting between Woodward and Raiola, they broadly discussed the contract that it would take to lure Pogba to Manchester, as well as how to plan to overcome Juventus’s demands.
The Red Devils are certain that the player wants to return to the club where Sir Alex Ferguson once made him cry, with the French daily reporting that in recent days Paul Pogba has told team-mates on international duty and friends that he does want to return to Manchester United.
Manchester United will make their first offer on Monday, the day after EURO 2016.
