During last night’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, it was announced that there will be another championship coming to WWE television very soon. The announcement was made during the show that WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Raw to unveil the new title. As of right now, there is no word on what the championship will be called or how it will look like, but a graphic released by WWE seems to indicate that it will have a similar shape as the WWE and Universal Championships. Given that Foley is introducing the title, fans have speculated that the Hardcore Championship could be coming back, but the answers will all be revealed during Raw tonight.

The Money in the Bank pay-per-view featured a WrestleMania 35 rematch between Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. Mysterio defeated Joe quickly to win the title for the first time in his career. According to PWInsider, Joe suffered a broken nose early in the match, which explains why his face was bleeding. Mysterio was also reportedly evaluated for a possible shoulder injury after the match was over. This could indicate that one or both men will have to take some time off in order to recover, but that has not been confirmed as of yet. However, Joe’s shoulders were clearly up at the time that the referee made the pin, so he does have a legitimate reason to challenge Mysterio for the US title in the future.
It was announced a couple of weeks ago that WWE will be introducing a new pay-per-view later this year called WWE Stomping Grounds. The show is set to take place in June just weeks after WWE wraps up its Super Show-Down event in Saudi Arabia. On the official website for the Tacoma Dome, which is where the event is being held, new matches are being advertised for the show. It appears that Kofi Kingston will defend the WWE Championship against Kevin Owens once again, and Seth Rollins will put the Universal Championship on the line against Baron Corbin. Also, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre appear to be set to clash once again. The Stomping Grounds show will air live on the WWE Network on June 23rd.
