WWE Superstar Randy Orton Comments on his Upcoming Role in Seth Green’s ‘Changeland’

WWE Superstar Randy Orton will appear in Seth Green’s new film, Changeland. Green directed the film, which will feature Orton in the role of Martin, a bartender who befriends Brandon, Green’s character in the movie. IMDB released the plot of the film, which is slated for release on June 7.

On the eve of his anniversary, BRANDON discovers his wife is having an affair. Rather than confront her, he invites his childhood best friend, DAN, to join him on the prepaid trip to Thailand that he intended to surprise her with as a gift. Brandon laments to his friend that though he doesn’t want to get a divorce, he isn’t sure how or if he can save his marriage. Once in Thailand, the pair go on a series of excursions and tours intended for a happy second-honeymooning couple. As they travel through beautiful caves and epic vistas, we discover Brandon and Dan’s friendship is potentially as strained as Brandon’s marriage. Throughout their brief three day trip, they encounter a series of eclectic, and often eccentric characters who unravel Brandon’s meticulous plans and show him that there is more than one way to do happy and live life to the fullest.

This is not the first Hollywood role for Orton, who starred in WWE Studios films, as well as the TV series Shooter on the USA Network.

Green is a big WWE fan. The actor actually got in the ring during his Monday Night Raw hosting duties on July 9, 2009. Green teamed with Triple H and John Cena against Orton, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes of The Legacy. Green and Orton have been friendly since that time and now that friendship is coming full circle.

Changeland also stars Breckin Meyer, Macaulay Culkin and Rachel Bloom.
