Slammy Awards: WWE Diva of the Year

We return to the Slammy Awards podium at the top of the stage. Seth Green introduces Jerry Lawler, who shows us the nominees for WWE Diva of the Year. Afterward, we head to another commercial.

We’re back from the break and it’s time to announce the WWE Diva of the Year for 2014. We shoot backstage and see the Diva nominees all standing around, when out of nowhere, Titus O’Neil walks up behind them. AJ Lee is announced as the winner and the Divas leave. We see O’Neil by himself as Lee skips out to the podium. She accepts the award and says this Sunday, she’s going to take back what’s rightfully hers at the TLC pay-per-view.

Backstage: Renee Young Interviews John Cena

Backstage, Renee Young is with John Cena. Cena talks about this Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view and how he has an important match with a big stipulation aganist Seth Rollins. He says before he can do that, he’s got to get past the giant who thinks he stepped up at Survivor Series — The Big Show. He says everyone thinks he’s done and it’s time for a new generation to step up, but claims he’s not done stepping up and he’s going to show that. He’s going to show it to Vince McMahon, Steve Austin and everyone else.

Erick Rowan vs. Luke Harper

Erick Rowan, sheep mask and all, makes his way out to the ring. The announcers plug the live “Steve Austin Show” podcast interview with Vince McMahon on the WWE Network. After that, we are informed that the former Wyatt Family members square off next, as after the break, it’ll be Rowan vs. Luke Harper in one-on-one action. On that note, we head to another commercial.

We return from the commercial and the match gets officially started. It doesn’t last long, however, as the two trade punches briefly and then end up outside the ring, where Harper starts using a ladder on Rowan. He gets disqualified.

After the match is officially called on the DQ ruling, Rowan starts fighting back, blasting Harper with the ring steps.

Winner via Disqualification: Erick Rowan

Backstage: Jimmy Uso & Naomi

Backstage, we see Naomi and Uso. Neither look happy. Naomi says she talked to The Miz’s agent and is headed to Hollywood to see what can happen for her. Uso doesn’t seem to like that idea much, and says he’s going to go with her because he doesn’t trust The Miz.

Slammy Awards: “LOL Moment of the Year”

From there, Adam Rose’s theme hits and out he comes partying his way to the podium with his Rosebuds, which includes The Bunny and the Chicken. They introduce the nominees for the “LOL Moment of the Year” award. We head to a break.

We’re back from the break and we see Rose and his crew at the podium again. The winner is revealed and it’s none other than Damien Mizdow for his performance as The Miz’s stunt double. Mizdow and Miz both come out for the acceptance speech, and of course Miz does all the talking and takes all of the credit.

In-Ring Segment: Rusev & Jack Swagger

We shoot back to the ring where the WWE United States Champion Rusev, accompanied by Lana, makes his way to the ring. Out comes Jack Swagger while they’re talking and he goes ballistic. He says Rusev broke Zeb Colter’s leg so Swagger’s going to snap his ankle. They start brawling at ringside but Rusev throws Swagger into the barrier.

Rusev misses a kick and Swagger takes the leg out. Swagger slams Rusev into the barrier Swagger ends up catching a kick attempt by Rusev and sticks him in the Patriot Lock. He refuses to let go as referees bombard the rnigside area and try and separate the two.
