WWE News: Lesnar Update, Heyman Backstage At Last Week’s RAW

Shortly before WrestleMania 34, WWE and Brock Lesnar agreed to a new two-show contract that was to culminate at SummerSlam with the assumption that Lesnar would finally drop the title. That is the reason why Lesnar retained The WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 34 and at The Greatest Royal Rumble Event. However, there is always an outside chance that Lesnar has secretly signed a new extension with WWE as he has yet to sign with UFC, and technically can’t until September. This may mean that he will once again retain The WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam, but that is yet to be seen and merely a speculation at this point and anything can happen between now and SummerSlam.
Paul Heyman was reportedly backstage at RAW this past Monday, once again helping with the work related to the Bobby Lashley/Roman Reigns storyline as it relates to and eventually leads to a match against Brock Lesnar.
