WWE Announces Two Matches For Their Next Two PPVs

WWE has announced two matches, both with championship implications, for their next two PPVs, one for Super ShowDown next Thursday 27 February in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and one for Elimination Chamber on 8 March at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

We’re on The Road to WrestleMania, but there are still two shows on the way to Tampa Bay, the first being Elimination Chamber in Philadelphia. The announced match has implications for the big show, as it will be an Raw Women’s Champion #1 Contender Elimination Chamber Match, featuring Liv Morgan, Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Ruby Riott, and Sarah Logan. Admittedly, this is not particularly the greatest ensemble of talent to enter the Chamber, and there is little reason to believe that anyone other than Baszler will win this match, considering she has literally already tasted Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch’s blood. That being said, there are three strong workers in Natalya, Asuka, and Baszler, while Riott and Morgan could impress with some surprising intensity in their own feud.

But before we get to Philadelphia, the WWE roster makes its way over to yet another Saudi Arabia show. The “Monday Night Messiah” Seth Rollins will be defending the Raw Tag Team Championship along with this Apostle (Don’t-call-me-Buddy) Murphy against Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford, The Street Profits, after they hit the ring to help out The Viking Raiders and Kevin Owens from the beat down at the hands of Rollins, Murphy, and The A.O.P. It would actually make for some compelling story-telling were The Street Profits to win the championship, putting Rollins on the defensive and perhaps targeting Akam and Rezar towards the champions as a way of booking them into a feud.
