In case you missed it, the “Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose defeated Seth Rollins this weekend at WWE TLC to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
The former SHIELD member further antagonized his bitter rival the following night on WWE RAW, repeating calling him out to the ring knowing he would/could not show up, and ultiamtely issued an Open Challenge — something Rollins was known for during his title reign(s) — to literally any Superstar on the red brand roster that WASN’T the so-called “Kingslayer”.
None other than “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze answered the call to challenge Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship, although he was ultimately unsuccessful in his attempt. Breeze also recently appeared on the WWE NXT brand, competing as the surprise opponent for NXT North American Champion Ricochet.
