Former Impact Wrestling star and three-time X-Division Champion Trevor Lee made his highly anticipated WWE debut at an NXT Live house show on Friday night in Dade City, Florida.
The so-called “Carolina Caveman”, who came up in the Carolinas and was trained by Matt and Jeff Hardy, among others, has been wrestling for nearly a decade despite being only 25-years-old. He became a feature in the X-Division for Impact over the last three years, while working a packed independent schedule as well as a mainstay for promotions like PWG, AAW and CWF.
Lee debuted in a losing effort against Luke Menzies at Friday night’s NXT Live event, just one night after fellow independent star ACH made his debut for the promotion as well.
