During the latest television tapings of Impact Wrestling, Matt Sydal cut a promo in the ring and said that Josh Mathews was his spirit guide that kept him centered. Mathews eventually came out and they exchanged gifts. Sydal gave Mathews the Impact Grand Championship and proclaimed him as the new champion. Matt Sydal winning the Impact Grand Championship will be aired on next weeks’s episode of Impact Wrestling.
