Shawn Michaels Reveals His In-Ring Future After WWE Crown Jewel Comeback

WWE cameras caught up with the “Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels immediately following his return match this Friday at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

The Showstopper arguably looked the best out of the four men in his main event match, as D-Generation X picked up a victory over the Brothers of Destruction. Michaels even hit a moonsault off the top rope, all the way out to the floor, cracking his head against the ground on the way down.

Backstage, HBK mentioned that he had a lot of fun making his return to the ring, but he’s heading back to Orlando next Monday and has no plans to ever wrestle again. “You forget just how tough this is on your body,” Michaels said. “It’ll be a very good reminder of why I didn’t do it for the last eight years, and why I’m not going to do it again if I can possibly help it.”

“This whole day I’ve been anxious, nerves and everything else. Once I got in there with everybody it was fun, it was comfortable. Did a few things, I got a little bit warm, but you forget just how tough this is on your body. I’ll be feeling it for the next several days. It’ll be a very good reminder of why I didn’t do it for the last 8 years, and why I’m not going to do it again if I can possibly help it.”

“Monday I’ll be back at the [Performance Center]. We are going back to our regular life. It was a lot of fun to do, but I’m glad it’s over too.”
