According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey is no longer being advertised for next week’s WWE Raw, which is the episode following Extreme Rules. Rousey will be appearing at the PPV, and seated ringside for the Raw Women’s Title match. Although no reason was given as to why Rousey was pulled from Raw advertisements, if the storyline is to be followed accurately, then her ‘suspension’ does not technically end until July 18th.
While plans can always change, Rousey’s presence at Extreme Rules is likely to further her feud with Alexa Bliss, who is expected to defend the Raw Women’s Title against Rousey at WWE SummerSlam this year. As noted, Rousey has been working all WWE Raw live events as advertised during her ‘suspension’.
