Ronda Rousey Attends Mae Young Classic, Angle Storyline Update

It’s true! None other than the formerly undefeated Ronda Rousey was in attendance for tonight’s Mae Young Classic tapings. Photos and videos sent out by Rousey, WWE and Triple H were all shown online prior to the show starting, each containing photos of Rousey both in the audience and taking pictures with Triple H outside of Full Sail University. Rousey and the rest of MMA’s Four Horsewomen were all in attendance for tonight’s tapings. The team of MMA experts were there to show support for Shayna Baszler. Baszler was announced as one of the 32 participants in the tournament just moments before cameras for the new tournament started rolling.
As we all have seen by now, Kurt Angle was seen speaking with someone on the phone. Angle revealed that he will be revealing his big secret to the public on next week’s Raw, and he also concluded his phone call by inviting the person to the same show before adding “I love you” at the end of the call. Fans have been speculating on who this person could possibly be, and names such as Dixie Carter and Stephanie McMahon have both been the most frequently rumored names. Surprisingly, it may turn out to be neither one of those two. WWE sounds like they may possibly be going in a different direction entirely with this storyline if it does turn out to be accurate.
While this is all just speculation at the moment, a reporter from Pro Wrestling Sheet claims that Kurt Angle may not actually reveal a long-lost lover of his from the past as many people assume that he will. Instead, Angle could possibly reveal that Smackdown star Chad Gable is his illegitimate son. Gable has been praising Angle in interviews lately, and the former Olympian has been wrestling in more singles matches on Smackdown lately, suggesting that a possible split from tag team partner Jason Jordan may be arriving soon. Again, this report is mostly just speculation at the moment, but Angle will be interviewed on the WWE Network after Raw, so the ramifications will definitely be severe.
