ROH lead announcer Kevin Kelly has taken an expanded role in the Ring of Honor office.

Kelly is working full-time in the office as the top assistant to ROH head booker Delirious (Hunter Johnston).

Sources say Kelly has absorbed several duties that were shared before and most decisions will go through Kelly before going to Delirious.

The office shift parallels the recent booking shift, where Christopher Daniels was put in charge of certain agent duties at ROH live events to help lift the load from Delirious.

Back in the office, an unpopular decision was made to release content producer George Carroll, who worked behind the scenes developing TV angles.

Carroll, who was let go on July 11, was a favorite among many of the ROH wrestlers. One top ROH wrestler was not happy at all about Carroll’s release, pointing to his quality work since being hired in 2014.

The door is open for Carroll to return at some point in the future, though.
