We then head back to the ring for the next match of the evening.

Honor Rumble: Kenny King & Minoru Suzuki are the first two entrants. Suzuki no-sells some chops and a shoulder tackle. One punch drops King before the next entrant, Cheeseburger, enters the match. The new entrant chops both men in the ring before Suzuki floors him with a forearm. Suzuki tries to eliminate King & The Beer City Bruiser strolls to the ring with a keg. The big man dishes out punches to all three men in the ring and bites them, too. Suzuki & King gang up on him & SHO enters the match. He drops Cheeseburger with a dropkick and tries to suplex The Bruiser. Shingo Takagi is the next entrant and SHO immediately fights with him. Takagi floors him with a clothesline before BUSHI comes to the ring. YOH, SHO’s partner, enters the match and teams with his partner to fight BUSHI. They drop Takagi with a double dropkick. Bruiser gets eliminated off-screen. Shaheem Ali enters the match and headbutts Cheeseburger. Ali drops SHO with a swinging slam. Rhett Titus enters the match but before taking some time to flex. It looks like he has a fresh tan; he continues to flex. LSG enters the match and floors SHO with a boot. Ryusuke Taguchi is the next entrant. SHO & YOH continue to work together. Will Ferrera comes to the ring and Titus hugs his former partner. They start arguing and Titus slingshots him into other competitors. Chase Owens makes his way to the ring and hits Ferrera with a series of strikes and a clothesline. Rocky Romero runs to the ring and runs around clotheslining people. It’s a train of clotheslines on BUSHI, courtesy of several contestants. BUSHI is eliminated by Romero. “Brawler” Milonas strolls to the ring and eliminates Ali & LSG. Bad Luck Fale enters the match and dumps SHO & YOH over the match. Cheeseburger avoids elimination; his partners in Shinobi Shadow Squad catch him. Titus pulls a Shawn Michaels to avoid elimination but he is eliminated by Shingo, who gets eliminated by Suzuki. Tracy Williams enters the match and exchanges strikes with Suzuki. YOSHI-HASHI is the next entrant and Taguchi gets eliminated off-screen. Romero fights out of a bearhug from Milonas.
PJ Black enters the match and Suzuki tosses out Ferrera & Owens. Jyushin “Thunder” Liger makes his way to the ring and takes the fight to everyone in sight. Milonas gets eliminated by the legend. TK O’Ryan enters the match and battles Black. Vinny Marseglia makes his way to the ring. Williams gets tossed out by the representatives of The Kingdom. Delirious runs to the ring (and around it.) Tomohiro Ishii enters the match and dishes out strikes to everyone around. He eliminates Black. Toru Yano enters the match but trades places with Colt Cabana. Cabana hits elbows on everyone around. Cabana gets the loudest cheers of the match. Hirooki Goto is the next entrant. YOSHI-HASHI gets thrown out by Fale. Nearly all the competitors collectively eliminate Fale. King Haku makes his way to the ring and targets Cabana. Yano enters the ring and attacks Haku. The Great Muta enters the match as the last entrant. Muta strikes Delirious and eliminates him. Suzuki eliminates Cabana & Yano. Muta eliminates Gresham. The Stone Pitbull & Suzuki exchange strikes. Ishii eliminates Suzuki before The Kingdom tosses Cheeseburger out. Haku fights The Kingdom but Marseglia & O’Ryan toss him out. They also eliminate Ishii. Muta, Liger, O’Ryan & Marseglia are the final four. The legends eliminate The Kingdom. Muta & Liger are the final two. King comes back into the ring and eliminates both Muta & Liger. Winner: Kenny King
After the match, Muta sprays King with the mist. Liger is left alone in the ring and the fans thank him. ROH/NJPW’s G1 Supercard Pre-Show comes to a close.

Main Show:
ROH/NJPW’s G1 Supercard Main Show opens up with a hype video. Various ROH & NJPW Stars discuss the event and the prestige of Madison Square Garden. Lots of NJPW fans are in the house as loud chants of “NJPW” ring throughout the arena. Commentary (Colt Cabana, Kevin Kelly & Ian Riccaboni) welcome us to the show and preview tonight’s card. We then head to the ring for the first match of The Main Show.
NEVER Openweight Champion Will Ospreay vs. ROH World TV Champion Jeff Cobb (Title vs. Title Match): Cobb takes the fight to Ospreay and sends him flying with a shoulder block. Outside the ring, Ospreay uses the barricade as a springboard. He then hits a cartwheel senton on Cobb and counters Cobb with a tornado DDT on the floor. Cobb overpowers Ospreay and hits a delayed vertical superplex for a near fall. The Olympian throws Ospreay across the ring. Ospreay attempts a hurricanrana but Cobb counters it into a bearhug. Cobb is taken down with a handspring spinning kick. Ospreay takes Cobb down with a springboard forearm. Cobb throws Ospreay across the ring again after the former slaps him a few times. Cobb kips up and hits a standing moonsault for a near fall. Stiff strikes rock Cobb, who hits Ospreay with a superkick but Ospreay plants Cobb with a Spanish Fly. A flying dropkick catches Cobb in the side of the face. The two men exchange counters and Ospreay nearly wins with a sunset flip powerbomb. Cobb turns Ospreay inside out with a clothesline. The big man goes up top but Ospreay dodges a Frog Splash attempt. A Robinson Special is followed up by an Oss-Cutter attempt but Cobb counters. He throws Ospreay into the corner but Cobb still gets planted with the same move. A hook kick to the head drops Cobb but he counters a Storm Breaker. Cobb hits the Call of the Islands off the top rope and nails it again on the ground to win the match. Winner & Still The ROH World TV Champion & The New NEVER Openweight Champion: Jeff Cobb
We then head back to the ring for the next match of The Main Show.
Dalton Castle vs. Rush: Castle makes his grand entrance with more splendor than usual. Rush kicks away Castle’s handshake and floors Castle, who was distracted by one of the Boys’ feathers, with two Bull’s Horns in the corner for the win. Winner: Rush
After the match, Castle is annoyed by The Boys. They try to cheer him up by doing the throne with him, he initially smiles, but that quickly disappears. He ends up lifting and suplexing boy number one. He then hits bang-a-rang on boy number two and heads to the back. Crowd boos Castle.
We then get a hype video that builds up G1 Climax 29.
Many Leon then joins commentary for The ROH Women Of Honor World Title Match. Before the match, the camera pans backstage. Juice Robinson has been laid out. His mysterious assailant runs away before they can be identified.
We then head back to the ring for the next match of The Main Show.
Mayu Iwatani (c) vs. Kelly Klein: The ROH Women Of Honor World Title is on the line in this one. Klein sends her Camp Klein allies to the back. The two competitors begin with some technical wrestling as they exchange counters. Klein targets Iwatani’s surgically repaired knee with a kick and a submission hold. A Samoan drop gets Klein a near fall. The former champion continues to target Iwatani’s knee. The champion locks in a chokehold but Klein powers her way out of it. A crossbody from Iwatani is countered into a fallaway slam. Klein gets sent to the outside with a kick to the head. Iwatani takes flight and lands a crossbody to the outside. The competitors exchange strikes but Klein drops the champion with two stiff forearms. Iwatani doesn’t hit all of a Poisonrana and Klein kicks out. The former champion drops Iwatani on her head with a German suplex. A series of stiff kicks and a Dragon Suplex might have put Klein away but the challenger’s foot was on the rope. Klein dodges a moonsault and demolishes Iwatani with a lariat. Iwatani barely kicks out after a powerbomb. Klein pins Iwatani after hitting K-Power twice. Winner & The New ROH Women Of Honor World Champion: Kelly Klein
After the match, Velvet Sky & Angelina Love make their way down to the ring. Mandy Leon gets in the ring to back Klein up, but then Leon cracks Klein in the back with her heel. Love hits Klein with a pump kick. Jenny Rose comes out to help and immediately gets dropped. Stella Grey tries and gets hairspray in the eyes. Leon drops her too.

The commentators announce that Juice Robinson will not be allowed to compete tonight because he is not medically cleared.
Mega Ran gives a performance of “Going To The Garden” until Bully Ray walks to the ring and interrupts. Mega Ran asks to leave peacefully but the crowd boos him because he says he is from Philadelphia. The crow is fully on Bully’s side and he attacks Mega Ran. Bully asks for an answer to his challenge and Flip Gordon heeds the call.
We then head back to the ring for the next match of The Main Show.
Bully Ray vs. Flip Gordon (New York Street Fight): A superkick and springboard spear rocks Bully. The ECW legend plants Gordon with a 3D. Ray rather than Devon, gets the tables. Another superkick drops Ray but Silas Young & Shane Taylor attack Gordon. They hold him down and Ray is about to hit him with a kendo stick when Lifeblood’s music plays. Mark Haskins & Juice Robinson bring a cart of weapons to the ring. Robinson wants to make this a 6-Man Tag Team Match.
Bully Ray, Shane Taylor & Silas Young vs. Flip Gordon, Juice Robinson & Mark Haskins (6-Man New York Street Fight): Ray & Juice go at it and exchange strikes. Young hits Robinson with a chair. Young hits a springboard elbow. Taylor takes Haskins down with a clothesline but the big man gets dumped outside by Flip. Haskins & Gordon dive to the outside to take down Young & Taylor. Ray hits his opponents with a kendo stick. Taylor, Young & Ray all get kendo sticks. They all cane Gordon who flips Ray off. Gordon asks for more punishment but all six men get kendo sticks. Taylor gets caned and kicked. Ray is left by himself and he runs away. Robinson chases him down. The fight continues. Taylor & Young set up a table. Gordon is left alone and Ray powerbombs him through a table. Juice & Haskins crotch Ray on the ring post. Young trips Haskins into a chair and suplexes him on it too. Haskins hits a double-stomp on Young. Carnage surrounds the ring. Taylor gets a wooden pallet and puts it in the ring. Robinson hits Taylor with a garbage can and hits a cannonball on Taylor onto the pallet. Ray is all alone and Haskins hits a diving headbutt to his private parts. Gordon hits a 450 splash for the win. Winners: Flip Gordon, Juice Robinson & Mark Haskins

Taiji Ishimori (c) vs. Dragon Lee vs. Bandido (Three-Way Match): The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title is on the line in this one. Bandido takes Dragon Lee to the outside with a hurricanrana and hits a spinning dive to the outside. Lee takes him down with a hurricanrana to the outside. Ishimori hits a springboard moonsault to the outside. Ishimori rakes Lee in the eyes but the latter hits a slingshot kick in the corner. Ishimori gets planted with a backbreaker but Bandido breaks up the near fall. Bandido uses his strength to catch Lee and drop him with a knee. Ishimori hits a handspring kick but Lee drops him with a powerbomb for a near fall. Bandido drops Lee with a hurricanrana off the top. All three men are down after Lee hits a Dragon Destroyer on the champion. Bandido nails Ishimori with a popup cutter for a near fall. Lee plants Bandido with a double foot stomp. All three men are on the top rope when Bandido lifts both and slams them off the top rope. Lee plants Bandido with strikes and a hurricanrana. Lee wins the match with a suplex-slam combination on Bandido. Winner & The New IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion: Dragon Lee
After the match, Bandido puts the title on Lee.

ROH World Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises (PCO & Brody King) vs. IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (“King Of Darkness” EVIL & “Cold Skull” SANADA) vs. The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) (Winner Takes All Tag Team Title Match): Destro brings PCO back to life with a battery and an electric chair. The Briscoes attack Villain Enterprises. PCO sends Mark to the outside and dives between the ropes to join him. Brody King helps his partner fight The Briscoes. The Guerrillas Of Destiny and EVIL & SANADA fight inside the ring. SANADA locks in the Paradise Lock before The Briscoes gang up on SANADA. King takes them both down with a crossbody. Tonga Loa gets taken down with a hurricanrana from King. King dives to the outside, taking out Loa & Jay. Mark takes him down with a dive off the top. Tama Tonga takes the fight to Mark but The Briscoes double team him. Mark takes Loa down with a blockbuster onto the floor. EVIL hits Tama with a chair and rolls him into the ring. Jay hits The Jay Driller on SANADA. King breaks up a pin attempt. King catches a diving Mark and slams him on the apron. PCO, jumping off the top, lands a senton on Mark on the apron. King & PCO nearly get the win with a moonsault but The Guerrillas Of Destiny break up the pin. Tama & Tonga powerbomb PCO from the ring to the floor below. PCO sits up, proving he really isn’t human. King plants Tama with a suplex but G.O.D. hit him with a super powerbomb for the win. Winners To Retain The IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles & Win The ROH World Tag Team Titles: The Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa)
After the match, Yano is standing on the stage with The IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles and heads off with them. Also, it looks like Enzo & Big Cass are at the event and some kind of brawl broke out on the outside at the end of the match.
We then head back to the ring for the next match of The Main Show.
Zack Sabre Jr. (c) vs. “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi: The RPW British Heavyweight Title is on the line in this one. Sabre staggers Tanahashi with some uppercuts. The challenger takes the champion down with a crossbody but Sabre locks in an armbar. He targets Tanahashi’s arm and cranks on his fingers. Tanahashi rallies, hitting Sabre with some strikes. Sabre locks in the armbar again but a rope break forces him to break it up. He continues to focus on the arm. The challenger drops Sabre with a dropkick to the knee. Tanahashi slams Sabre and lands a somersault senton for a near fall. Both competitors lock each other in an abdominal stretch and trade the submission. A dragon screw leg whip in the ropes takes Sabre down. Tanahashi briefly locks in the Cloverleaf but Sabre reverses it into a triangle choke. The challenger counters it back into a Cloverleaf but Sabre gets to the ropes. Tanahashi drops Sabre with a slingblade but the champion locks in the arm bar again for a few seconds. He targets the challenger’s arm again and hits him with an arm-breaker. Sabre twists himself to bridge Tanahashi for a near fall. Tanahashi gets a near fall on a bridge and hits Sabre with another dragon screw. The challenger plants Sabre on his head several times with neck-breakers and a slingblade. Sabre counters a suplex into another arm bar and transitions into another hold. The champion wrenches an arm bar in the middle of the ring and Tanahashi submits. Winner & Still The RPW British Heavyweight Champion: Zack Sabre Jr.
We then head back to the ring for the next match of The Main Show.
Tetsuya Naito (c) vs. Kota Ibushi: The IWGP Intercontinental Title is on the line in this one. Naito slowly takes his entrance gear off and dodges Ibushi’s attempts to lock him up. Naito takes him down with an arm drag but Ibushi pops right back up. The challenger drops the champion with a hurricanrana. Naito dropkicks Ibushi to the floor and uses the barricade to hurt him even more. Ibushi gets sent into the front row. Naito hits a slingshot kick in the corner and follows it up with a neckbreaker. Ibushi plants the champion with a dropkick and hits a series of strikes as well. Naito drops Ibushi onto the turnbuckle and hits him with a single-leg dropkick. Two neck-breakers on Ibushi allow Naito to keep the momentum. Ibushi hits a kick to Naito, who’s on the top rope. Both men battle on the apron until Ibushi hits an incredible hurricanrana to the floor below. They’re both down for several seconds. A springboard double-stomp gets Ibushi a near fall. Naito springs off the ropes and hits a hard DDT for another near fall. A super hurricanrana and another slam aren’t enough to put Ibushi away. The challenger hits a hard clothesline on Naito and both men are down again. Ibushi hits a deadweight German suplex from the second rope and Naito barely kicks out. Another German isn’t enough to put the champion away. The two competitors exchange pin attempts before Naito drops Ibushi on his head. They exchange strikes before Naito spits in Ibushi’s face. A hurricanrana and another spinning slam aren’t enough to pin Ibushi, who drops the champion with a kick to the head. The challenger hits two running knees to the head but Naito kicks out. A powerbomb doesn’t put Naito down but another knee to the head does. Winner & The New IWGP Intercontinental Champion: Kota Ibushi

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Nick Aldis (w/ Kamila) joins the commentators for this match.
Jay Lethal (c) vs. Marty Scurll vs. Matt Taven (Three-Way Ladder Match): The ROH World Title is on the line in this one. Lethal dropkicks a ladder into Scurll. Taven dives over the top and lands on the ladder the two men were holding. A stiff boot to the face drops Scurll and the champion is dominating early on. He gets two chairs out and hits Scurll. The Villain slams Lethal’s head into a ladder and plants Taven with a DDT. Lethal hits Taven with a ladder and drops it on him as well. Scurll slams Lethal onto a ladder and hits him with a chair. With Lethal hung upside down in a ladder, Scurll climbs a ladder before Taven drops him with a superkick. Lethal stops Taven from climbing and throws him into the ladder. Scurll gets taken out by Taven, who knees Lethal in the head. The Villain hits Taven with some chops and sends him outside. Lethal locks Scurll in a grapevine through the ladder and tosses Taven outside. Lethal plants Scurll with a cutter on the apron but Lethal took the worst of it. Taven powerbombs Lethal onto a ladder at ringside. Scurll hits a 619 on Taven but the Villain gets dropped with a DDT. Taven hits a rolling neckbreaker onto a ladder. The Villain hits a superplex off the ladder and both men are down. Lethal crawls back into the ring and Scurll hits him with the umbrella.
The champion counters a Chicken-wing submission by backing Scurll into a ladder. Taven & Lethal battle on a ladder but Scurll puts him in a headlock. Scurll & Taven fight on top of the ladder before both men fall off. Taven’s fingers are hurt, so he can’t grab the title. Lethal hits a Lethal Combination on Taven into a ladder. Scurll suplexes Taven onto two intersecting ladders. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection on the Villain. Scurll plants the champion with a brainbuster on the floor. The Villain sets up a table but Taven drives him through it with a spear. Lethal lays Taven out on a table and climbs a ladder. The champion dives off the top of it and hits an elbow drop on Taven. Scurll crawls into the ring and Lethal follows him. Taven throws a purple ladder into the ring. The Villain hits both his opponents with a ladder. Lethal & Scurll try to climb the ladder but Taven stops them both. Taven & Lethal battle atop the ladder again and Lethal falls 15 feet down onto another ladder. Taven unhooks the title to win. Winner & The New ROH World Champion: Matt Taven
We then head back to the ring for the main event of ROH/NJPW’s G1 Supercard.
Jay White (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada: The IWGP Heavyweight Title is on the line in this one. The two men lock up before White capitalizes on a distraction from Gedo to seize the momentum. White grounds Okada with a headlock. Okada drops the champion with a boot and follows it up with a neckbreaker. The fight spills to the outside, where another distraction from Gedo allows White to toss Okada into the barricade. A chinlock grounds Okada again before White drops Okada with a back suplex. The champion puts the Muta Lock on Okada but Okada gets a rope break. Okada plants White with a flapjack. The challenger hits a few elbows and slams White. A dropkick sends White back to the outside. Okada attacks Gedo and dives over the barricade and into the crowd to take down the duo. White drops Okada with a suplex. A twisting brainbuster nearly gets White the win. Both men are down after Okada hits White with a neckbreaker. The challenger hits a hard dropkick in the corner and another off the top rope for a near fall. Okada nails an elbow drop off the top rope but White drops him with a flatliner and a German suplex. White dumps Okada to the outside but rolls him back into the ring. Okada plants White with a Tombstone but he can’t make the cover. The two men exchange strikes but White gets the upper hand with some chops. Gedo stops Okada from hitting the Rain Maker and White nails a sleeper suplex. The two men exchange counters until Okada hits two Rain Makers for a near fall. White slips out of a Tombstone and hits a Bladerunner. Okada floors White with a series of forearms. White hits a low blow on Okada, thanks to a distraction from Gedo. Okada counters a Bladerunner into a German Suplex before the two men exchange counters. Another Tombstone and Rainmaker earn Okada the victory. Winner & The New IWGP Heavyweight Champion: Kazuchika Okada
After the match, Okada celebrates his victory as The G1 Supercard comes to a close.
