Sergio Ramos says Real Madrid “always has the door open” for players with the sort of “amazing physique” that Paul Pogba has.
Pogba was linked with a move to Real throughout the summer but Manchester United refused to countenance the sale of their only world-class player.
The Frenchman was said to feel ‘isolated’ and regretful at not forcing the situation to get the move he craved.
And Real have started their charm offensive remarkably early ahead of a probable renewal of their interest next summer.
Captain Ramos says a player of Pogba’s stature would always be welcomed at the Bernabeu.
“I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him,” he told the Daily Express.
“For me, Pogba is one of the great players.
“He is different and he has shown his value at Juventus and now Manchester United.
“I think he brings balance to a team. He has a great offensive influence and he has this amazing physique.”
