Mo Salah is “world-class” but his sloppiness “upsets the flow of Liverpool”, according to football pundit Don Hutchinson.
Salah joined Liverpool in June 2017 from Roma in a deal worth around £34m. The Eqyptian had already had an unsuccessful spell in the Premier League with Chelsea.
But the forward has enjoyed an extraordinary few years at Anfield. He has bagged 110 goals from just 175 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

He has played an integral role for the Reds during a highly successful period for the club. During his three-plus years at Anfield, they have won the Premier League and Champions League.
Salah has continued his impressive form into the 2020/21 season. He has 16 goals from just 23 appearances so far this term.
The attacker was subbed off late on as Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw against Newcastle United on Wednesday.
Klopp’s side travel to face Southampton at St Mary’s next hoping to pick up all three points after drawing back to back league games.
Hutchinson told Optus Sport’s The Midweek Review that Salah is frustrating to watch:
“I think he is world class. But he frustrates you when you watch him play, and not just with his finishing. It’s the simple things, he doesn’t complete a 10-yard pass, he seems a bit sloppy, bit casual.
“Sometimes he upsets the flow of Liverpool. He can give a ball away and Liverpool have to start again. Maybe the noises of Real and Barca may have affected him a little – but he seems off it.”
