After weeks of speculation, we now know for a fact that not only will Asuka be arriving on the Raw brand soon, but she is set to make her debut at the TLC pay-per-view coming in the next few weeks. Since she has been undefeated for over two years now, fans have been wondering what WWE has planned for her now that she is on Raw. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for Asuka to wrestle a singles match at TLC against either Emma, Alicia Fox, or Nia Jax. If the company does not go through with this idea, the other possibility they are considering is a six-woman tag team match featuring Asuka teaming up with Bayley and Sasha Banks against an unnamed heel team.
WWE will occasionally send out surveys for fans to answer, and more often than not, they turn out to be rather interesting. The trend continues with the latest survey put out by WWE. PWInsider reported on a survery issued to them which asked fans to rate some of the WWE Superstars. They ask fans to judge their mic skills, wrestling ability, entrance, character, and connection with fans. They asked about meeting wrestlers at events such as Fan Axxess, they asked how much merchandise fans purchased from WWE within the last year, if fans follow WWE’s social media activity, and how often they watch their programming. Batista will go down as one of the greatest performers to step into the ring during WWE’s “Ruthless Aggression” period. He has since stepped away from the wrestling ring to concentrate on an acting career, and it has worked out rather well for him so far. He landed the role of Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy film series, as well as a role in the James Bond film Spectre, and he was featured in the recent Blade Runner 2049 sequel. Deadline has reported that Batista will now be partnering with STX Entertainment to produce and star in a new series of films. Not much else is known about the new film franchise, but it does promise to have plenty of action and comedy.
