As previously noted, tonight’s episode of WWE 205 Live will feature a cruiserweight gauntlet match with the winner earning an opportunity at the Cruiserweight Championship this Friday afternoon at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.
205 General Manager Drake Maverick posted a video earlier today revealing the participants in tonight’s match, which you can check out below. It’ll be a stacked match for sure, as we will see the premiere athlete Tony Nese, WrestleMania tournament finalist Mustafa Ali, former Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto, Cruiserweight Classic winner TJ Perkins, and the self-proclaimed submission specialist Drew Gulak; not necessarily entering in that order.
Current champion Cedric Alexander doesn’t seem phased by the announcement, tweeting out that the eventual winner of tonight’s match “better bring their ‘A’ game in Saudi Arabia.” Tune in tonight immediately after Smackdown Live on the WWE Network, and follow along with our live coverage here at ProWrestling.com.
