New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced that Taka Michinoku has been pulled from Sunday’s Best of the Super Juniors event in Chiba, due to an unfortunate injury to his right leg.
The Suzuki-Gun veteran was scheduled to face off against IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Dragon Lee in what would be the 10th night of tournament action. Dragon Lee will instead be awarded an automatic two points for a victory by forfeit, and the show will only feature nine matches.
