Moscow in final against Treviso

Dinamo Moscow was better in first senmifinal of Champions League. Russian team beat Belchatow 3:1. Second semifinal belonged to Trentino.

Skra Belchatow – Dinamo Moscow 1:3 (25:23, 19:25, 20:25,17:25)
Before start, there was minute of silence as a tribute to plane crash victims who lost their lifes three weeks ago. Skra started very well, leading 8:2 on the first technical time. Polish team got some points by block (for example on Dante and Poltavsky). Later Moscow started to play harder, but the distance was still evident. After Wlazly s attack, the result was 16:12 for Belchatow. Antiga was blocek by Volkov and than Dinamo got closer (17:16). Russian capitain, Sergiej Grankin protested against one decision of referee, but it did not change anything. Mariusz Wlazly
gave to Skra first set ball and his team won this part 25:23.

Second part began better for Moscow (2:5). On polish side, main role was played by Wlazly. Succesfull attack of Dinamo let them lead 8:5 on the fist technical time. Skra’s recieve was not very good, so Jacek Nawrocki took a break for his team. Poltavsky had high effectivness in attack. After russian service and block it was 14:7 for guests and Nawrocki started to change some players (Dobrowolski came in for Falasca). It didn’t stop Semen Poltavsky who got more and more points. After second technical time Stephane Antiga was blocked and Skra lost 10:17. Moscow kept fullcontrol and they won 25:19.

In set three, Dinamo leading again, but this time it was 8:4. Skra won long action. Then, Wlazly made a miskate on the service (6:9). Dante made a great brazilian spike from pipe two times in a row. When it was 7:11, Jacek Nawrocki asked for time out. Poltavsky helped to keep safe distance from Skra. Antiga didnt receive well. Wlazly was the only one who was playing pretty good and he gave hope to fight sucessfully. Mozdzonek blocked Berezhko. Wlazly spiked again. Dinamo was still leading (20:17).  Skra did not find solution for good game of russian team and
PlusLiga champion lost also this part 21:25.

Next part started from lead of Moscow 3:0. Nawrocki quickly took a 30 seconds break. Skra made some points, but they still had less of them that Dinamo. Russian players increase their result. Berezhko made a good block and result was 16:12 for Moscow. Skra made some mistakes and it was the last moment to fight a little more for get to a big final tomorrow (12:18). Other polish players did not help Mariusz Wlazly very well. Grankins setting was really effective. Russian fans started their countdown. Dinamo Moscow won whole game 3:1 and they will play for gold medal of Champions League 2010.
