Although her matches in the tournament have yet to air, fans in attendance for the Mae Young Classic tapings earlier this year have said that Mia Yim was one of the standout performers in this year’s tournament. Yim has appeared in WWE on a few different occasions in the past, but she has never signed a deal to join the company full time. However, Yim can be spotted in a recent video on NXT’s Twitter account posted down below. PWInsider has confirmed that Yim is currently visiting the Performance Center, and while she is a resident of Orlando and is friends with several NXT roster members, it is possible that she could be joining the company soon. No official announcement of Yim’s WWE signing has been made as of yet.

Rusev and Aiden English were one of the most popular and beloved tag teams on the SmackDown roster, and while the two of them have been having their fair share of differences lately, no one could have expected that English would be the one to turn on Rusev. However, during SmackDown last night, English cost Rusev the opportunity to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship with a distraction. After the match, English surprised “The Bulgarian Brute” and attacked him before leaving him laying in the ring. Rusev’s wife, Lana, responded to English’s action with a tweet promising revenge, but the former NXT Tag Team Champion simply says “Happy Aiden Day,” showing that he is content with his decision to end his alliance with Rusev.

Only a few weeks ago, it seemed like a move to WWE at some point within the next few months for Pentagon Jr. and Fenix was all but a guarantee, but more and more reports now indicate that the two Lucha brothers will not be going anywhere for the foreseeable future. MLW founder Court Bauer has just seemingly given a definitive answer as to where Pentagon and Fenix will be competing next year. Despite the reported interest from WWE, Bauer says that the two Lucha Libre stars will continue to wrestle for MLW until the end of 2019. WWE allegedly hoped to sign Pentagon and Fenix in early 2019 and have them work on the NXT brand, but it looks like both of them will now be staying put for at least one more year.
I’ve moved heaven and earth. Penta, Fenix and Salina are with MLW for the foreseeable future. Salina just signed a new deal and the Lucha Bros are committed through end of 2019 at the very least. ?? https://t.co/NhD5rKRO4u
