In first female president of the garment makers’ association in its 36 years history, Rubana Huq has created history and now social media has been buzzing with congratulatory messages for Huq who now sits on 10th floor of the Lotus Kamal Tower in Dhaka.
“I’ll risk saying this. When we come into a new position, the experience should be a humbling one, not one of being overwhelmed by felicitations and congratulatory messages,” Huq told The Hindu.
