According to a report by PWInsider.com, a major main event WWE Superstar could be set to make a return to television in the very near future.
The report has stated that former WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose is expected to be returning to the ring very soon after spending over half a year injured.
According to multiple sources, Ambrose is set to be back in a WWE ring within the next month, with one source claiming that the Lunatic Fringe is set to be at WWE SummerSlam, meaning he will return around that timeframe.
Whether that means he will return at the PPV itself, or just before is unclear and an appearance at SummerSlam is not guaranteed, but Ambrose is expected back soon.
Prior to his triceps surgery, Ambrose was enjoying a run alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns with the Shield reunion, although that never fully worked out due to injuries and illness.
Ambrose was originally slated to miss nine months of action following surgery and this month is currently the eight-month mark in Ambrose’s recovery process, though he has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center back in June.
