James Maddison admits he wants to play at the ‘highest level’ he possibly can amid talk of a potential switch from Leicester to Manchester United.
Maddison has impressed since joining the Foxes from Norwich in 2018, forcing himself into Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
The 22-year-old was widely linked with a move to United over the summer and Maddison has not yet ruled out a future move to Old Trafford, or anywhere else that may be perceived as a step up from Leicester.
The free-kick specialist has now revealed his targets for the rest of his playing career, and how he has managed to work his way into England’s top flight.

“I’ve played League One, in Scotland, the Championship and the Premier League.
“I worked my way up.”
