The high school wrestling season may be over, but some youth wrestlers from Le Sueur-Henderson, St. Peter and Tri-City United haven’t left the mat yet.
This year marks the eighth season of the Valley Elite Wrestling club, a freestyle program hosted at the Le Sueur-Henderson Middle/High School. The club has about 45 kids in first- through 12th-grade who practice twice a week and compete against wrestlers in other Minnesota clubs on weekends throughout April and May.
