According to Gianluca di Marzio, Lazio, who appear poised to appoint Marcelo Bielsa as their new manager, have made an enquiry to Newcastle United for Frenchman Florian Thauvin.
The Serie A side have been quoted a fee of at least €13m to €14m, with salary demands from the player worth €1.8m a year.
Marseille are in talks to re-sign the player on loan, but Lazio and Bielsa seem to have other ideas.
