This week on TNA iMPACT!, it was announced that Kurt Angle would be starring in a short film produced by SpikeTV. That short film has now been posted online. The “Kurt Angle Action Short” is listed with the tagline, “Can Kurt Angle take on the henchmen of his nemesis?”.
The hilarious action film takes place at a bar “Somewhere in Connecticut” – obviously a knock at WWE, which is based out of Standford, CT.
In the opening scene, several tough guys are sitting around a table a few feet away from Angle. They tell Angle “he was never welcomed back to Connecticut.” The tough guy then instructs one of the others to throw his butt out of the bar or else he’ll be fired!”
Angle orders a drink at the bar and the bartender serves him a glass of milk. Angle asks the bartender how he knew that milk is Angle’s drink. Angle then proceeds to beat the crap out of the gang that was harassing him. The ending comes with Angle saying, “Connecticut. ..what a bunch of pussies!”
Overall the 4 minute 21 second video is hilarious. Angle has always been great on the mic and its clear that he’s also a talented actor with a real screen presence and comedic timing you just can’t teach.
