Juventus director Fabio Paratici has refused to rule out a future move for struggling Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The midfielder opened up on his desire “to have a new challenge somewhere else” last June before staying at Old Trafford and eventually finding his way back into the first team after injury.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently confirmed that Pogba has had his contract extended and will remain at the club until the summer of 2022.
OPINION: Sorry excuses are the only ones left for Solskjaer…
The midfielder’s deal was set to expire this summer, with the inevitable speculation over his future beginning to ramp up.
Rumours were fuelled by Pogba’s latest admission that it is his dream to one day play for Real Madrid.
And despite the France midfielder’s contract having almost two more years left to run, Juve director Paratici has hinted that Pogba could be a part of their future transfer plans.
Paratici told Sky Sport Italia: “As for Pogba, right now he is a Manchester United player and it is far too early to think about future transfer targets.
“We all care for Pogba here, one of many ex-players who gave Juve so much, but it’s too early to talk about future objectives.
“We are concentrated on constructing this team for this season, that is where our focus lies.”
