Last week the 12th GQ Men Of The Year awards took place, marking the return of the man’s man. After a few years of metrosexual pretty boys taking to the stage, 2009 saw the return of the tough guy. Mickey Rourke, Guy Ritchie and Jenson Button won awards, while Jason Statham, The Wire’s Dominic West, Mark Strong and William Hague were among the men handing them out.
Hollywood kingpin Harvey Weinstein looked like a fearsome Mafia don collecting his media mogul award and Ross Kemp received his gong from war veteran Colonel David Richmond who got a standing ovation.
