The annual Elimination Chamber pay-per-view has long since become a pastime along the rocky Road to WrestleMania, as you can never quite tell exactly what’s going to happen.
That was doubly the case in 2010, when John Cena defended the WWE Championship inside the dreaded steel structure against five other men — Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Ted DiBiase Jr., and “The Game” himself, Triple H.
However, the major twist and turn didn’t come until after the match, where Cena successfully tapped out the so-called “King of Kings” to retain his time.
Now typically, that would mean he was headed to the Grandest Stage of Them All as reigning champion, but Mr. McMahon had other plans. The Boss then came out to announce that Cena wasn’t done for the night, bringing out “The Animal” Batista for an impromptu second title defense.
