Experts Believe Army’s ‘Yeti Footprints’ Could Be Of A Bear

The footprints of mythical Yeti have created a lot of ripples across social media and since the claim was made by Indian army, people took it with both hands. However, the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has come out with a counter narrative and said that the footprints could be of any other animals and similar situation where footprints have been believed of Yeti’s had made to news earlier as well.

News18 reported citing sources in WII. “There is a mention of Yeti in Nepalese and also in Buddhist literature. The foreigner explorers have spent ample time in collecting evidence about the mythical snowman. Some have even collected hair and bones from Himalayas and had done genetic analysis of the samples which came out to be of brown or black bear,” senior scientist at WII, GS Rawat said.
