Encouraged By Anna Hazare, This Village In Nagaur Is All Set To Become ‘Adarsh Gram’

Encouraged by social activist Anna Hazare, Taparwada village in Nagaur has now became liquor free, no DJ sound system is played here on weddings and other occasions to avoid noise pollution and villagers have also built a check dam to store ample rainwater to get step wells and underground water resources recharged.

Village has been striving to become an “Aadarsh Gram” as villagers have supported the government in every cause varying from construction of check dam to other works.

Some of the youths of the village out of its nearly 1,500 families were inspired with social activist Anna Hazare’s village Ralegan Siddhi.
