– This past Tuesday’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi did a 1.3 cable rating, reports Dave Scherer of the Professional Wrestling Insider. That number is the same number that the show has done for the past two weeks.

– One reader sent word that there was no additional cost for ordering WWE Royal Rumble in High Definition. The reader’s carrier was Time Warner in San Antonio, Texas and they said that despite reports that the event was going to be more expensive, it was the same price.

– As Michael reported earlier, Funaki suffered a broken nose at last night’s ECW/SmackDown tapings from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The injury occurred during a dark match against Vladimir Kozlov that took place before last night’s tapings.

– No one in WWE was said to be surprised about the company’s decision to end their relationship with Ohio Valley Wrestling. The feeling backstage was that a move was imminent although most thought that WWE was going to wait until after WrestleMania XXIV.
