Following his loss to Dean Ambrose at Sunday night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view in Chicago, Illinois, longtime WWE Superstar Chris Jericho appeared to wrap up his latest run with the company.
Jericho took to social media after the event and wrote, “Thanks WWE….its been real. See you next time.”
Jericho’s latest run with WWE began back on January 4th when he announced that he would be participating in the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble match. Jericho went on to work live events, TV appearances and pay-per-views throughout the next few months, concluding with his match against Ambrose at the 5/1 Payback show.
