The number one contender to the AEW World Championship will be in action on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
AEW announced last night that Brian Cage will have a match on Dynamite this coming Wednesday (June 3). His opponent wasn’t revealed, likely meaning that it will be a squash match.
This will be the third match Cage has had for AEW. He made his debut for the promotion as the mystery entrant in the Casino Ladder Match at Double or Nothing. On Dynamite this week, Cage quickly defeated Lee Johnson. Cage is being managed by Taz in AEW.
Cage will challenge for Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship at Fyter Fest. That show is taking place this summer, but further details for it haven’t been announced.
