Goal have reported that it isn’t only the Portuguese giants interested in Wilson with West Brom and Brentford said to be keen on prying the 24-year-old away from Anfield too.

Wilson is rumoured to be keen to leave Liverpool in a search for consistent game time after making only two competitive appearances for the club.
The Welshman has spent time on loan at Derby, Hull, Bournemouth and most recently Cardiff City accumulating 38 appearances for the Welsh club last season.
He managed to score seven goals and register 12 assists in his stint with The Bluebirds and is currently on international duty with the Welsh national team for Euro 2020.
It is also reported that Swansea City could be interested in Wilson with manager Steve Cooper known to be a big fan of his after working closely with him in Liverpool’s academy.
The Swans tried to bring Wilson in on loan last season, but ended up losing out to Cardiff for the player’s signature.
Despite Benfica’s strong interest, they are said to be quite far off the valuation put on the Wrexham born winger by Liverpool and discussions have been halted as a result.
Liverpool have made a habit of selling fringe players for large sums in recent seasons with Dominic Solanke heading to Bournemouth for over £19million and Rhian Brewster joining Sheffield United for £23.5million.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to raise funds as the club try and fight for the Premier League title again next season following a disappointing injury riddled campaign this year.
The Liverpool boss is said to be interested on brining in Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn, but the Scotland international has a rumoured price tag of £50million.
Klopp’s interest is supposedly ‘very real’ and he is a big fan of Mcginn as the club looks to replace Georginio Wijnaldum who left to join French giants PSG.
