A Beat the Clock Challenge on tonight’s Raw set up a change to the SmackDown Women’s Championship match for Extreme Rules.
It will now be Bayley defending her SmackDown Women’s title against Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross in a handicap match at the pay-per-view. The match was originally announced as Bayley vs. Bliss.
Bayley and Cross took part in singles matches on tonight’s Raw, and whoever won in the fastest amount of time got to pick the stipulation for the title match at Extreme Rules. Cross defeated Dana Brooke in under three minutes, while Bayley defeated Sarah Logan in 4:32.
After the Beat the Clock Challenge, Cross cut a promo and told Bayley to find a friend of her own who is as loyal and honest as Bliss and who could slap some sense into Bayley. Bayley then laid out Cross with a Bayley-to-Belly and flying elbow drop.
