PSG open talks with Edin Dzeko’s entourage

Ligue 1 champions PSG have opened talks with the entourage of 33-year-old AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko about a possible summer move, according to France Football.

The Bosnian target man is especially well-liked by PSG Sporting Director Antero Henrique and with his contract expiring in 2020 and the uncertainty around the future of Edinson Cavani, could represent a great option for Les Parisiens.

From Dzeko’s side, he is expected to receive multiple offers this summer from inside Serie A, as well as from the Premier League, but PSG could represent a challenge with a realistic chance of winning the Champions’ League to boot.

OGC Nice looking to sign Khephren Thuram from rivals Monaco

L’Équipe report this morning that OGC Nice are looking at the possibility of signing young midfielder Khephren Thuram from rivals AS Monaco.

The 18-year-old and son of French football legend Lilian Thuram, is out of contract next month and has interest from English, Spanish and Italian clubs. AS Monaco are still hopeful of signing the teen to a professional contract.

But the youngster wants regular playing time as quickly as possible.

Valencia make Anthony Lopes approach

Yahoo Sport FR report that Valencia have made an approach for 28-year-old Portuguese international and Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes.

The shot-stopper’s current deal expires in 2020 and the relationship between Lopes’ agents and Jean-Michel Aulas have become strained, with both parties a gulf apart regarding an eventual wage hike in a possible contract extension.

FC Porto remain interested in the player, but according to Le Progrès, Aulas and another Lyon representative Vincent Ponsot were due to meet with the Portuguese’s agents today, so we await the outcome of this meeting.

Radio Scoop add that AS Roma have also recently made an enquiry.

Official | Predrag Rajkovic signs for Reims

Ligue 1 side Reims have announced the signing of 23-year-old highly-rated Serbian short-stopper Predrag Rajkovic on a 4-year contract from Maccabi Tel-Aviv.

The deal represents a coup for the Champagne side, who have spent around €3m to get the deal done.

His arrival does not indicate that Edouard Mendy will depart SDR, but that he will compete for the #1 shirt next season with him.

Rennes and Monaco were also interested in the goalkeeper.

Anthony Lopes to sign 5-year Lyon extension

Yahoo Sport FR report that Portuguese international shot-stopper Anthony Lopes has now agreed to sign a 5-year contract extension with Lyon.

Despite a pretty public display of discord between OL President Aulas and the player’s agents, a deal is now imminent.

This, despite approaches from FC Porto and Valencia for the player.

Leo Jardim (Rio Ave) to sign for Lille

Yahoo Sport FR and Goal France report this morning that 24-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Leo Jardim is set to become Lille’s 2nd summer transfer window signing, after PSG attacker Timothy Weah.

Jardim, who was for a long time AS Monaco’s goalkeeping target, has arrived in France and will undergo a medical shortly with LOSC ahead of a permanent transfer for close to €6m on a 4 or to 5-year contract.

Lorient to sign Clermont captain Julien Laporte

Yahoo Sport FR report that FC Lorient have in recent hours agreed a fee with fellow Ligue 2 side Clermont to sign central defender Julien Laporte.

Laporte was also Clermont’s captain, under a deal until 2021. He has had a provisional contract agreement with Les Merlus for several weeks now.

A deal is now imminent.

Clermont interested in Farès Bahlouli (Lille)

La Montagne report that Ligue 2 side Clermont are in discussions over the possible signing of 24-year-old midfielder Farès Bahlouli.

The player has been placed in Lille’s reserves and has 12 months remaining on his contract with Les Dogues. He has played just 31 Ligue 1 matches so far in his career.
