According to today’s L’Équipe, Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette had asked to leave OL this summer.
However, the report also claims that the player does not want a repeat of the contract extension uncertainty that led fans to clash with him last summer and accepts to remain with OL for another season.
The club has repeatedly said that Lacazette will not leave, a line that Lacazette agrees with taking in terms of the way to treat his transfer policy this summer.
