Continuing their string of recent sellouts, All Elite Wrestling sold out both their Boston, MA, and Philadelphia, PA, TNT events in roughly an hour Friday.
The approximately 4500 seats available at Boston University’s Agganis Arena sold out in 57 minutes and would have done so faster had the online sales process not slowed down, according to our Dave Meltzer. The Wednesday, October 9th Boston show will be the promotion’s second live TV show on TNT and will feature Jon Moxley vs. Shawn Spears and the Young Bucks vs. Private Party.
The Wednesday, October 16th Philadelphia show, held at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, sold out approximately 7700 seats in just over an hour. 6500 of those tickets were sold in just 45 minutes. The third TNT show will feature both World title defenses for the men and women.
The success follows a quick sellout for AEW’s debut on TNT on Wednesday, October 2nd, in Washington, DC, at the Capital One Arena.
AEW has yet to announce any dates past Philadelphia, but are expected to soon.
