Will Ospreay Injured, Off This Weekend’s Revolution Pro Shows

New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Star & former two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay was originally scheduled to work this weekend’s Revolution Pro Shows, but the promotion recently announced that Ospreay is injured and wasn’t cleared for in-ring action. The company gave a statement writing, “Both Will and ourselves are very disappointed he can’t do what he loves to do this weekend. But as always the health of the competitors comes first.” As seen below:

Unfortunately Will Ospreay is injured & has not been cleared for this weekends shows. Both Will and ourselves are very disappointed he can’t do what he loves to do this weekend. But as always the health of the competitors comes first. We thank you for your understanding.

Ospreay didn’t comment further on the injury, but he retweeted the above statement. Earlier this week, Ospreay took on Jimmy Havoc in a No DQ/2 Out Of 3 Falls Match for PROGRESS that lasted about 43 minutes, as seen below:

One of the moments that committed me to being a wrestling fan was the finish of Summerslam 1997, and the look between @BretHart & @ShawnMichaels on the pin count.
