Daily Update: McGregor slams WWE, Young Bucks SuperKick Party game, UFC on Netflix

McGregor Slams WWE

At yesterday’s conference call, things were mostly polite between the bitter rivals Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. McGregor showed much more respect for Diaz than usual other than repeatedly calling Diaz a “punching bag with eyes.”

McGregor was not as polite when referencing the WWE superstars. He had this to say, “For the most part those WWE guys are p*ssies. To be honest, they’re messed up p*ssies if you ask me.” McGregor said. “Fair play to Brock he got in and fought, but at the end of the day he’s juiced up to the f*cking eyeballs, so how can I respect that?”

Referring to CM Punk, McGregor said, “What’s the other guy? He hasn’t fought yet so I don’t know about him yet.”

More on McGregor’s comments here.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter: August 8, 2016 Wrestling Observer Newsletter: WWE financial report, MMA rules change, UFC 201 – There really wasn’t a lot of big news coming out of the second quarter WWE conference call.

WWE pushed that it was the most revenue ever generated in a quarter, but with the fallout of WrestleMania and the new free subscribers from the prior quarter, that was inevitable. Some of them stayed with the service, some may have forgotten to cancel the service, and there are also the contractual increases in television revenue. Plus there was the Mania event revenue… Subscribers click here to continue reading.
