Leeds United winger Jack Clarke is ‘in London for a medical’ ahead of the completion of a £10million move to Tottenham, according to widespread reports.
The north London club have not signed a single player since Lucas Moura arrived in January 2018, with Kieran Trippier their last British signing in June 2015.
But having agreed a fee of around £10m up front with Leeds for teenager Clarke, Tottenham are set to land their man.
Journalist Phil Hay says that the ‘deal includes sell-on clause and Leeds will have first option to loan him back if Spurs decide to send him out at any stage.’

Clarke has been given permission by Leeds to travel south to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with Tottenham, with the latter unexpected to cause too many issues.
The 18-year-old currently has two years remaining on his current deal at Elland Road, but is likely to pocket a significant pay-rise given he only earns a reported £1,000 a week in West Yorkshire.
