Now in its 5th season, and having raised in excess of $150,000, TakeDown Cancer continues its mission to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
The charity, having no paid salaries, meets the definition of a grassroots organization. It’s an, ”of the people, for the people” organization with ALL proceeds going toward cancer research and patient aid via the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund. Funding is directed to some of the most brilliant, talented, and hard-working cancer researchers in the business.
TakeDown Cancer is looking for additional volunteers to help with the 2017-2018 season. Whether involved at the youth, middle school, high school, or college level, there are opportunities for you to host your own TakeDown Cancer event. Let’s make a difference. Please join us as we TakeDown Cancer!
