Former NXT UK Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is reportedly suffering from a leg injury. After directly contacting WWE about the said injury, Squared Circle Sirens has indicated that Ripley’s leg injury is nothing serious and they believe that it is just a minor sprain. She was said to be having lingering issues and then got the injury checked out. Despite the boot she is sporting in the image below, it is expected that Ripley won’t be taking too much time away from the ring.
Aside from being The First-Ever NXT UK Women’s Champion, Ripley has also competed in both The 2017 & 2018 Mae Young Classic Tournaments. In her second try, Ripley was able to reach The Semi-Finals and even though she didn’t win The 2018 Mae Young Classic Tournament, she was able to establish herself as a ruthless heel.
