After spending years demanding one last wrestling match against Triple H, Batista was finally granted his request this year. He will be returning to the ring for one more match against “The Game” at WrestleMania 35 next Sunday in a No Holds Barred competition that will also see Triple H put his career on the line. Batista made his surprise return to Raw a few weeks ago when he attacked Ric Flair before his 71st birthday celebration. He then demanded a match against Triple H one more time until WWE’s COO finally relented. Given that Batista has not competed in a ring since 2014, he is doing all that he can to return to action looking better than ever so that he can score a win in his last WWE match.
WrestleMania 35 will mark Batista’s big return to wrestling, and “The Animal” is certainly taking his comeback very seriously. WWE just uploaded a video onto their YouTube channel earlier today showing Batista training for his match. He is seen training in the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu gym, and he is aiming to end Triple H’s in-ring career in addition to his own. WWE also has more planned for the former world champion. According to a statement released by WWE earlier today, there will also be a brand new WWE 24 documentary coming out about Batista’s first match back in WWE. Batista vs. Triple H has been built as one of the biggest matches on the WrestleMania 35 card this year, so it will be interesting to see how well Batista performs next weekend.

One of the most unexpected moments of WrestleMania 34 came when Braun Strowman and his tag team partner Nicholas won the Raw Tag Team Championships. Strowman had been teasing a mystery partner for his match against Cesaro and Sheamus for weeks, but when it was time to reveal his partner, Strowman selected a small boy from the audience in New Orleans, Louisiana that night. Strowman and Nicholas won the match and the titles before vacating them on Raw the very next night. Nearly one year later, WWE has decided to find out what happened to the former champion. In actuality, he is the son of referee John Cone. For those interested, the video featuring Nicholas has been posted down below:
