WWE RAW HOLT REPORT
NOVEMBER 21, 2017
HOUSTON, TEX. AT TOYOTA CENTER
REPORT BY ROBERT LOKOTAR, PWTORCH CORRESPONDENT
PRE-RAW MATCHES (taped for Main Event)
(1) Gran Metalik beat Brian Kendrick
(2) Apollo Crews beat Curt Hawkins
POST-RAW
After Raw went off the air, Miz continued to berate the crowd. The Shield pursued him and powerbombed him through the announce table.
RAW NOTES
-The crowd was pro-Braun Strowman, but Triple H got a good reaction for just being a big star.
-The crowd really wanted to be into Asuka, but there was an audible groan when Dana Brooke came out as her opponent.
-The timing of Paige saying someone was with her and the women showing up was awkward. It felt like there was confused about who the women were and fans didn’t seem to know whether they should cheer or boo the situation.
-The main level was full, but the hard camera side (three sections) were pretty empty, and the area across the top opposite of the stage and behind the hard camera was tapped off. Otherwise pretty full.
OTHER NOTES
Tonight was my 140th WWE event and tonight was the only time when they security took my sign and put a big black X on the back of it to indicate it was approved. One sign was one I’ve been using for three years. They did that. In the first segment tonight, I was holding up signs that had my name on it which was pretty visible in the opening segment. One of the security guys was confused and asked me if I had a sign that said “Houston 3:16.” I had a t-shirt that said that, but not a sign. He told me not to hold up that sign anymore. A guy all night long was holding up a sign that said “It’s my birthday” and in the last segment of the show, they came over and took it away from him. It was strange to me.
